Returns & Refunds
Two separate rights apply to what you buy from us: a 7-day cooling-off right because you bought online, and a 6-month warranty against defects. They work differently — this page explains both.
Last updated 26 August 2026
1. The 7-day cooling-off right (ECTA s44)
Because you bought online, section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives you the right to cancel without giving a reason and without penalty, within 7 days of receiving the goods.
- The item must be unworn, unwashed, in its original condition and with all tags and packaging intact.
- You pay the cost of returning the goods to us. This is what the Act allows — the only charge you carry is the direct cost of return shipping.
- We refund the full purchase price, including the delivery cost built into it, within 30 days of the cancellation.
- You do not need our permission to exercise this right — but please tell us first so we can watch for the parcel.
2. The 6-month defect warranty (CPA s56)
Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act gives you a 6-month warranty on everything you buy. If, within 6 months of delivery, an item turns out to be faulty, defective or not fit for its ordinary purpose, you may choose to have it repaired, replaced or refunded. That choice is yours, not ours.
- This covers manufacturing faults — split seams, broken hardware, failed prints, defective fabric.
- It does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse or accident, or damage from ignoring the care instructions on the garment.
- For a valid defect claim we pay the cost of returning the item. You are not out of pocket.
- If we repair or replace an item, that repair or replacement carries a further 3-month warranty under section 57 of the CPA.
3. What we cannot accept back
Outside the two rights above, all sales are final — our drops are limited and nothing is restocked. In particular we cannot accept returns for:
- change of mind after the 7-day cooling-off window has closed;
- items that have been worn, washed, altered or damaged after delivery;
- items returned without tags or original packaging (within the cooling-off period);
- ordering the wrong size after the cooling-off window — check the size guide before you buy.
Underwear and other items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons are excluded from the cooling-off right where the packaging has been opened. [TEHAN TO CONFIRM: whether any product lines are hygiene-excluded]
4. How to start a return
- Email [TEHAN TO CONFIRM: returns email address] within the relevant window with your order number (for example LSD-001001), the item and size, and the reason for the return. Photographs help for defect claims.
- We reply with a return reference and the return address within 2 business days.
- Post or courier the item to [TEHAN TO CONFIRM: return postal address], marked with your return reference. Keep your tracking number — until the parcel reaches us it is your responsibility.
- We inspect the item on arrival and process the outcome within 5 business days of receipt.
5. How refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
- Refunds are processed within 30 days of us accepting the return, and usually much sooner. How quickly it appears then depends on your bank.
- You will get an email confirming the refund amount and the date it was released.
6. Damaged or wrong items on arrival
If your parcel arrives damaged, or contains the wrong item or size, tell us within [TEHAN TO CONFIRM: window for reporting, e.g. 48 hours] of delivery with photographs. This is our mistake, so we cover the return shipping and either send the correct item or refund you in full — whichever you prefer.
7. Exchanges
Because drop stock is limited and not restocked, we generally cannot exchange for a different size — by the time a return reaches us that size is usually gone. The reliable route is to return under the cooling-off right for a refund. If the size you want is still showing as available, contact us and we will do our best.
8. Still stuck?
Contact us through the contact page and quote your order number. If we cannot resolve your complaint you may escalate it to the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
