These terms govern your use of licensd.co.za and every order placed through it. By placing an order you agree to them. They are written to comply with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

This website is operated by [TEHAN TO CONFIRM: registered business name], a business registered in the Republic of South Africa with registration number [TEHAN TO CONFIRM: CIPC registration number], trading as LICENSD.
Section 43 of ECTA requires us to publish this information before you transact. If anything above is out of date, please tell us.
LICENSD sells limited-edition clothing in timed releases we call drops. Each drop opens at a published launch time and stays open only while stock lasts. Stock is limited per item and per size, and nothing is restocked once a drop ends.
Section 44 of ECTA gives you the right to cancel an online purchase without reason and without penalty within 7 days of receiving the goods. Section 56 of the CPA separately gives you a 6-month warranty against defects. Both are set out in full in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may cancel an order, and refund you in full, if:
Refunds for cancellations we initiate are processed to the original payment method within 30 days.
We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Colours may render differently on different screens, and measurements in our size guide are approximate and may vary slightly between garments. Minor variation of this kind is not a defect.
You agree not to:
We may cancel orders and block access where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.
The LICENSD name, logo, designs, artwork, photography and website content are owned by us or licensed to us. Buying a product does not give you any right to reproduce our designs or branding.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the CPA or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or liability under section 61 of the CPA for harm caused by unsafe or defective goods.
Subject to that, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We process your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). See our Privacy Policy for what we collect, why, and what rights you have.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Please contact us first — most problems are quickest to solve directly. If we cannot resolve it, you may refer the matter to the National Consumer Commission or an accredited consumer goods ombudsman. South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
